Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Vehicle Inspector for the evening shift at our reconditioning facility. This role thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with set targets. The shift runs Monday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM and includes a $1.50 hourly shift premium.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of incoming vehicles assessing damage, cleanliness, and mechanical conditions.
• Identify and document issues that do not meet Clutch’s quality standards.
• Safely operate vehicles around the lot including moving, starting, and parking.
• Maintain accurate inspection records through checklists and digital platforms.
• Work closely with teams in reconditioning, detailing, and mechanical departments to manage vehicle workflow effectively.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical problems as needed.
• Ensure workspace organization and comply with all safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• Post-secondary education is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Possession of at least a G2 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Capable of commuting to Mississauga.
• Available for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week with the flexibility to work overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive inspection, logistics, or warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with using Google Sheets or similar digital tools.
• Capability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

Compensation and Work Details

• Hourly wage: $20.00 plus $1.50 shift premium for evening hours.
• Permanent full-time role with Monday to Thursday evening shifts from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM.
