Job description
Position Overview
At our luxury hotels, the role of the Valet in Transportation is vital in creating outstanding first impressions upon guest arrivals and ensuring departures leave guests with a lasting, positive memory. Valets are entrusted with the responsibility to facilitate a smooth and welcoming experience by assisting guests throughout their arrival and departure processes. They enjoy the autonomy to navigate their workplace and proactively address operational tasks, guest requests, and provide insightful recommendations about local attractions.
Role Responsibilities
Valets must foster a safe environment, uphold company policies, maintain confidentiality, protect assets, meet stringent quality standards, and present themselves professionally through their attire and communication. The role involves significant physical activity such as standing or walking for long durations and safely handling items up to 50 pounds independently or heavier objects with assistance. Performing these duties competently is essential to delivering superior guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Minimum education of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No previous related work or supervisory experience required
- No license or certification necessary
