Role Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent client service by resolving requests and concerns promptly, proactively communicating to enhance client satisfaction.
- Thoroughly inspect each vehicle prior to safe parking, documenting all observations.
- Provide clear explanations of valet rates to customers.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and practice safe driving habits at all times.
- Report to management any accidents, safety risks, unusual incidents, or breaches of policy.
- Familiarize yourself with key streets, landmarks, and freeways to ensure smooth and efficient customer transportation experiences.
- Maintain punctuality and appearance by arriving in clean uniform every scheduled shift and remaining in uniform throughout.
- Support management with any additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Possession of a valid state driver's license, current address verification, and a clean driving record.
- Capability to safely operate manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work non-standard shifts, including second, third shifts, and weekends if required.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the US is mandatory upon employment.
- Strong communication skills, ability to provide accurate details to customers and colleagues, and professional handling of complaints.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills including reading, writing, adding, subtracting US currency and comprehending instructions and brief communications.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal directions and adapt calmly to changing situations, delays, or unexpected events.
Physical Requirements
The role requires frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of cash and equipment. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, and lifting/moving items up to 25 pounds are part of the job. Reasonable accommodations will be provided to eligible individuals with disabilities.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary ranges from $17 to $22 hourly, including estimated tips. Eligible employees have access to benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage, life and accident insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
