Job Overview
Join SSP America as a Utility Worker where your primary responsibility is to uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards within our restaurant units to ensure a safe environment for both guests and team members. This role requires a warm, friendly attitude, a commitment to important yet challenging tasks, and high standards for cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a positive guest experience by maintaining hygienic workspaces.
- Clean various surfaces and equipment including floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, and storage areas.
- Dispose of waste in designated locations.
- Clear and reset tables in dining areas as needed, and transport serviceware to kitchens for cleaning.
- Scrape and wash dishes, pots, and pans by hand or using dishwashers, returning items to proper storage.
- Use specific cleaning chemicals and sometimes heavy equipment to meet sanitation standards.
- Assist guests with special requests and communicate needs to servers or supervisors.
- Handle loading and unloading of supply deliveries, transferring goods between storage and work areas.
- Stock, date, rotate, and monitor temperature of food supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of $20.09
