At SSP America, we are dedicated to bringing authentic dining experiences to airport locations. Our Utility/Dishwasher Workers play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our restaurant spaces, ensuring both guests and team members have a safe and pleasant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a welcoming guest environment by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing work areas.
• Clean all surfaces and equipment including floors, walls, windows, hoods, grills, refrigerators, and storage spaces.
• Dispose of refuse properly by transporting it to designated locations.
• Clear and reset dining tables between seatings and manage service ware by transporting it to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Scrape, wash by hand, or load dishwashing machines to clean dishes, pots, and pans, then return items to their proper place.
• Use designated chemicals and possibly heavy equipment to meet sanitation standards for all equipment.
• Assist guests with special requests and communicate these needs to supervisors or servers.
• Handle loading and unloading of supply trucks, transferring items between storage and work areas.
• Stock and rotate food supplies, checking and recording temperatures to ensure freshness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a minimum of six months’ experience in retail or food service environments.
• High school diploma is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to understand, speak, and read English sufficiently to interact with guests and follow instructions.
• Experience handling guest service issues effectively.
• Valid food handler’s permit as mandated by local laws.
• Certification related to brand standards, if required.
• Capability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended durations.

Additional Information

• Wage: $20.00 per hour.
