Job Summary
The position of Utility Supervisor is available for candidates with 3 to 8 years of experience in chemical, oil & gas, or fertilizer industries. The role is based in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, and involves overseeing utility operations to ensure smooth functioning and maintenance compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in coordination with Central Utility and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) teams to guarantee uninterrupted utility services.
- Ensure timely and effective preventive maintenance of HVAC systems, exhausts, drive systems, air compressors, pumps, plate heat exchangers, and general utilities by managing manpower, spare parts, and continuous monitoring.
- Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols on the production floor.
- Obtain necessary clearances for work permits from area owners and safety teams, allocate resources accordingly, and ensure prompt task completion.
- Maintain thorough documentation supporting ISO14001, ISO18001, ISO27001, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with Facility Engineers to capture requirements, devise action plans, and implement them effectively.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned promptly and efficiently.
- Carry out planned in-house modifications and improvements based on targets set by Facility Engineers.
- Provide coordination and support for laboratory instrument service engineers as needed.
- Prepare and submit shift reports in accordance with the reporting structures.
Qualifications and Eligibility
Candidates should possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering obtained via full-time study.
