Responsibilities

• Learn utility locating methods, safety protocols, and equipment operations
• Gain knowledge of local utility infrastructure and applicable regulations
• Work alongside experienced locators to identify underground utilities
• Operate specialized locating instruments
• Record findings using digital mapping technology
• Perform duties under various weather conditions

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Legal authorization to work in the United States for this employer
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Valid state driver’s license (excluding provisional licenses) with an acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Frequently work alone in remote settings, perform tasks involving arm elevation, vehicle operation, hand dexterity, bending, stooping, standing, walking, lifting up to 55 pounds, and computer use
• Occasionally use ladders, work in confined spaces, and climb stairs

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $20 to $22 per hour.
