About the Role
Join UtiliQuest as an Experienced Utility Line Locator, where you'll master safety procedures and employ specialized equipment to identify underground utility lines accurately. Working alongside seasoned locators, you'll contribute to safer excavation projects by documenting your findings and ensuring infrastructure protection.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate detection devices to pinpoint and mark underground utilities, seeking advice from experienced personnel when necessary.
- Interpret utility maps accurately to identify underground lines.
- Record detailed documentation of all located utilities.
- Respond promptly and courteously to excavation requests.
- Maintain effective communication with excavators, utility representatives, and colleagues.
- Perform light digging with a shovel as required.
- Be available for overtime, travel, and on-call duties including afterhours.
- Work efficiently under varied weather conditions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States for this employer.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Valid state driver's license (non-provisional) with a clean driving record.
- One or more years of utility line locating experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Regularly work alone in remote settings, reach with arms overhead, operate vehicles, perform fine hand movements, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, and use computer peripherals.
- Occasionally use portable ladders, work in confined spaces, and climb stairs.

- Hourly wage between $25.00 and $30.00.
