Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $30.00 depending on experience. Technicians receive a comprehensive benefits package including a company vehicle, fuel card, and cell phone to be used as a mobile office starting from home. Additional optional benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, and telehealth services. The employer covers life insurance premiums and offers paid time off accruing up to 80 hours annually, six paid holidays, a 401(k) plan, boot reimbursement, performance-based incentives, and milestone anniversary bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate independently outdoors using a company vehicle as a mobile office while completing assigned daily locate requests.
• Precisely and safely mark underground gas, electric, and communication utilities using paint, flags, or whiskers.
• Utilize mobile work systems to receive and manage daily assignments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and overtime shifts, potentially including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings including drug tests, Motor Vehicle Record checks, and background verification.
• Compliance with Federal Department of Transportation safety regulations is mandatory; marijuana use is prohibited regardless of medical or recreational use.
• Minimum age of 18 with a high school diploma or GED.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
