Role Overview

We are seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Utility Driver based in Mwanza, Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing secure, dependable, and efficient transportation for personnel, visitors, materials, and company assets while ensuring full adherence to our Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport employees, visitors, and authorized passengers safely to their respective destinations.
• Deliver and collect company-related documents, equipment, and materials as necessary.
• Perform daily inspections of vehicles and promptly report any defects or issues.
• Ensure the assigned vehicles are kept clean, safe, and fit for road use.
• Comply with all road traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Maintain accurate logs including vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
• Protect company vehicles, equipment, and transported assets against damage or loss.
• Contribute actively to the company’s Zero Harm safety culture.

Qualifications and Experience

• Secondary School Certificate (Form IV) or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid Tanzanian driving license covering vehicle categories C, C1, 2, 3, and E.
• A minimum of three years of professional driving experience within corporate, mining, logistics, or industrial settings.
• Possession of Defensive Driving and First Aid certifications will be beneficial.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
