User Experience Strategy Officer

Overview

This role involves conducting user experience (UX) research and analyzing user behavior to better understand customer needs and enhance digital interactions. The position aims to optimize the customer journey, increase booking conversion rates, and improve cart or basket values while driving the ongoing development and refinement of e-commerce initiatives across various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement A/B tests, usability tests, surveys, and other methodologies that contribute to UX research.
• Analyze user behavior through heatmaps and digital analytics tools to uncover areas for enhancement.
• Benchmark against competitors and industry standards to improve UX strategies.
• Create and execute UX strategies that align with both customer expectations and business goals.
• Convert findings from research, testing, and data analytics into practical, data-driven recommendations.
• Generate UX materials such as user journey maps, personas, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, flow charts, storyboards, and sitemaps.
• Design and evaluate UI components including navigation systems, search features, calls to action, banners, page layouts, and digital workflows.
• Examine website and customer performance data to pinpoint high and low performing digital touchpoints.
• Work closely with Product, Design, Technology, Marketing, and other teams to implement user-focused experiences.
• Constantly track UX effectiveness and advise on improvements to boost conversion rates, ease of use, and user satisfaction.
• Effectively share UX insights and suggestions with stakeholders from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Keep abreast of the latest UX research techniques, industry trends, and best practices and incorporate them into digital experience enhancements.
