About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain transport models using PTV VISUM tailored for Middle East projects.
  • Apply advanced traffic forecasting and analysis techniques to anticipate and manage traffic flow.
  • Perform comprehensive transport data analysis to inform strategic planning and decisions.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify transportation challenges and devise effective policies and plans.
  • Assess the impacts of proposed transportation initiatives and design infrastructure including roads, railways, and cycling pathways.
  • Collaborate with engineers, urban planners, and policymakers to integrate transportation solutions within land use frameworks promoting sustainable development.
  • Provide technical leadership by reviewing junior team members' work and promoting quality standards.
  • Utilize transport modeling tools such as EMME, SATURN, CUBE, AIMSUN, LEGION, Junctions9, Sidra, Linsig, Synchro, or SIDRA for analysis.
  • Analyze complex datasets to detect trends and innovate solutions to transportation issues, continuously improving methods and results.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations to effectively communicate results and recommendations.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with team members and clients in lead and partner offices.
  • Mentor and support team members’ professional development and knowledge exchange.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Planning, or a related discipline.
  • 7 to 12 years of relevant experience, with 3 to 5 years specifically in the Middle East sector working on large-scale infrastructure or highway projects, and experience in global delivery models preferred.
  • Chartered or professional accreditation is an advantage but not mandatory.
