About the Role
Nair Systems LLC is seeking a seasoned Transaction Banking IT Project Manager for its operations in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring 10 to 15 years of solid experience in handling intricate banking technology and digital transformation initiatives. This role demands expertise in transaction banking platforms including OBDX, corporate banking systems, and a deep understanding of business analysis related to transaction banking products, channels, and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration from legacy banking systems to new digital platforms, encompassing data migration strategies, planning, reconciliation, testing, cutover, and stabilization after migration.
- Manage system integrations, coordinate stakeholders, supervise vendor activities, and ensure end-to-end delivery of projects within the banking sector.
- Apply project governance principles, including planning, budgeting, risk and issue management, change control, and reporting to senior management.
- Collaborate with business units, technology teams, operations, compliance, and vendors to ensure timely and scope-aligned project execution meeting business goals.
Requirements
- 10 to 15 years of experience in managing banking technology projects, with a focus on transaction banking and digital banking migrations.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling large-scale banking implementation or migration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of transaction banking and corporate banking systems such as OBDX and digital banking platforms.
- Proficiency in business analysis, requirement gathering, data migration processes, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
- PMP certification with a strong grasp of project governance and management methodologies.
