About The Narmco Group
The Narmco Group is a leading company in the automotive sector, specializing in metal stamping and assembly. The company is expanding its professional team and offers a challenging career opportunity as a Tool & Die Maker. Their production process includes the use of progressive and tandem dies, particularly focusing on deep draw, aluminum, ultra-high strength steel (UHSS), and other complex stamping dies.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret die designs, CAD data, sketches, and other relevant documents to fabricate metal stamping dies.
- Ensure that the material selected matches type, grade, and dimensions specified in engineering drawings.
- Assemble die components precisely according to alignment and clearance specifications from engineering diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve quality or functional issues with the die, performing measurements, modifications, and repeated testing until passing final inspection.
Job Requirements
- Possession of a Tool & Die Maker (Red Seal) certification or a comparable combination of technical education and practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a toolmaker, creating new tooling within a tool & die environment.
- Proven expertise in building progressive, transfer, and robotic transfer dies suited for automotive metal stamping.
- Solid understanding of automotive sheet metal stamping, including formability and design principles.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with good organizational abilities.
