About the Company and Role
A prominent leader in the automotive sector specializing in metal stampings and assembly is seeking a Wire EDM Operator to join their team. The company provides comprehensive tooling solutions including progressive and tandem dies, focusing on deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel (UHSS), and intricate stamping dies.
This opening is for a vacant position.
Compensation
The wage offered ranges between $23.00 and $27.00 per hour.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform setup, programming, and operation of Wire EDM machines, specifically Makino models.
- Execute wire burning processes on tool steel and die components.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot EDM machinery and related software.
- Collaborate closely with the CNC coordinator.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least three years of experience within the Tool & Die sector.
- Competency in reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Effective interpersonal abilities fostering teamwork.
- Good organizational capabilities.
