Overview
James L Williams Middle East (JLW) is seeking a committed and experienced Timekeeper to join our project teams in Dubai. This role is focused on ensuring precise documentation, monitoring, and reporting of workforce attendance and related timekeeping processes to support smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update daily and weekly manpower attendance reports with accuracy.
- Track employee attendance, working hours, and deployment of workforce on projects.
- Examine timesheets carefully to confirm correctness, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
- Manage attendance data sourced from biometric systems and maintain comprehensive master timesheets.
- Perform random attendance audits to confirm workforce presence at the site.
- Evaluate subcontractor attendance logs and highlight any inconsistencies.
- Coordinate documentation related to overtime while ensuring necessary approvals are in place.
- Assist with leave management and maintain up-to-date workforce records.
- Organize transportation for workforce and support administrative duties at the site as needed.
- Ensure prompt forwarding of attendance and payroll documents to facilitate uninterrupted project operations.
Requirements
- Possession of a High School Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- Three to four years of relevant experience in timekeeping or site administration roles.
- Prior experience in construction, engineering, MEP, or data centre project settings is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong skills in documentation and report generation.
- Effective communication capabilities, both verbal and written.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic site environment and coordinate efficiently with various stakeholders.
