As a Termite Technician, you will perform termite treatments safely, adhering to company protocols and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and evaluate termite infestations using knowledge of termite habits and behaviors to determine necessary treatments.
- Inform customers about critical conditions promoting termite activity and discuss procedures or structural adjustments that may complement treatment.
- Safely enter and exit various structures, including crawl spaces and elevated areas, navigating stairs and ladders as needed.
- Utilize inspection tools, application equipment, small hand tools, and power hammer drills during service delivery.
- Adapt to diverse environmental conditions such as seasonal weather and dusty or damp locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of your equipment and company vehicle.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service; prior termite control experience is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with eagerness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday and some Saturdays as needed.
- Ability to acquire and retain required federal, state, and local licenses and certifications.
- Possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers an hourly wage between $20.00 and $28.00. Benefits begin immediately for full-time employees with no waiting period, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
