Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of residential properties to detect pest infestations, damage, and points of entry.
• Apply pest control treatments responsibly using approved chemicals, baits, and traps while maintaining strict safety standards.
• Educate clients about preventing future pest problems and recommend practical measures for maintaining pest-free environments.
• Build strong customer relationships by scheduling appointments, confirming visits, assisting sales efforts, and expanding client base.
• Maintain pest control equipment in optimal condition, ensuring it is well-stocked and functional.
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal pest control regulations and safety protocols.
• Operate company-provided service vehicles safely with provided routine maintenance support.

Working Conditions

• Regularly work in confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, and narrow aisles.
• Work in proximity to animals, insects, termites, and mechanical parts, while managing exposure to electrical currents, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals under proper safety training.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying local weather conditions equipped with company-provided weather gear.
• Engage in physical activities including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
• Use personal protective equipment such as OSHA-compliant respirators, requiring a clean-shaven face for proper fitting.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
• Required federal, state, and local licenses or certificates for pest control, which the company will support obtaining.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday and on weekends as necessary.
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in all facets of pest control.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math abilities to follow mixing instructions on product labels.
• Customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Maintain a clean-shaven look for safety and equipment fitting.

• Hourly wage ranges from $17 to $23, varying by location, skills, education, and experience.
