Termite Technician

As a Termite Technician, you will play a vital role in safeguarding customers' homes by identifying, preventing, and treating termite infestations. You will use your expertise to provide peace of mind through inspections and targeted treatments at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify termite issues and understand termite behavior to establish appropriate remedial actions.
• Carry out termite treatments safely in line with company protocols and safety standards.
• Apply anti-termite solutions according to schedules, safety policies, and product instructions.
• Inform customers about conditions fostering termite activity and discuss supplementary treatments or structural changes.
• Ensure job orders have correct specifications before starting work.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Complete all necessary documentation detailing services rendered.
• Communicate clearly with customers about the services provided.

Essential Job Functions

• Tolerate various environmental conditions including seasonal weather and dusty or damp locations.
• Prepare treatment sites effectively.
• Access challenging areas such as crawlspaces, roofs, and confined spaces using ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet and in confined spaces.
• Experience in general labor, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, or attic work is advantageous.
• Must be physically able to perform tasks requiring climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling regularly.
• Wear required personal protective equipment like OSHA-compliant respirators.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence; company provides vehicles and fuel cards.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience; termite control experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
• Flexible with work schedule: Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Licenses or certifications required by regulatory authorities will be covered by the company.
• Basic math competency to follow product mixing instructions.
• Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper respirator sealing for safety.
