Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a pivotal communication link by managing and distributing information throughout the hotel.
• Answer incoming calls from external and internal sources promptly and professionally.
• Redirect calls to the correct extensions or guest rooms, confirming guest identity by verifying last names for room calls.
• Provide guests with clear directions and required information.
• Handle ticket management by opening and closing tickets according to guest or staff needs.
• Coordinate with hotel staff to meet guest requests efficiently.
• Communicate with callers clearly and precisely, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Accurately document messages with appropriate grammar and spelling.
• Confirm caller names and telephone numbers when necessary.
• Manage urgent situations or emergencies calmly, collaborating with hotel management and security to ensure proper response and documentation.
• Support additional functions as directed by supervision, including operating facsimile machines, notifying guests about receipts via computer systems, and requesting repairs or technical assistance for computer equipment.
