Technology Specialist Cyber GRC

About The Role

C4i Solutions, an Australian veteran-owned company specializing in ICT, Cyber, and Digital solutions for Defence, Government, Space, Emergency Services, and Critical Infrastructure sectors, seeks a Technology Specialist Cyber GRC. This permanent position based in Western Sydney involves providing governance, risk, and compliance advisory services for classified Defence cyber security systems, supporting operations primarily across Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer cyber security governance and regulatory compliance frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, DSPF, and Essential Eight within the Defence CyberWorthiness System (DCwS).
• Lead processes related to the Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation Framework (CSAAF) to secure Authority to Operate (ATO) for Defence systems.
• Engage effectively with Defence stakeholders to assist in ATO procedures and decision-making.
• Create and maintain essential security documentation adhering to CSAAF standards including SAP, BIL, E8 assessments, SSP, SSP-A, SRMP, IRP, CMP, SCCG, and POA&M documents.
• Drive continuous improvements in cyber security governance practices, policies, and implementation of best practices.
• Conduct risk management activities involving identification, mitigation planning, and reporting within Defence information systems.
• Operate securely within Defence networks, ensuring integration with the Single Information Environment and facilitating the acceptance, deployment, and sustainment of Defence capabilities.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced in classified Defence or Government project environments, preferably with LAND or Army project exposure.
• Australian citizen holding an active or inactive AGSVA clearance with a minimum NV1 level preferred.
• Holds relevant qualifications and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are highly regarded.
• Formal training or certifications in cybersecurity frameworks and standards pertinent to Defence environments are desirable.
• Strong understanding of OT and ICT network integration and security challenges.
• Proven problem-solving abilities coupled with the capacity to perform effectively under pressure and in varied environments.
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills for working with military and civilian stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
