- Coordinate daily activities with data architects and engineers focusing on lakehouse designs such as Dremio and Databricks, and managing ETL/ELT pipelines alongside integration with other systems.
- Track and enforce DDA compliance by maintaining checklists for data classification, security, interoperability, and ensuring proper evidence collection.
- Manage and update risk and issue logs (RAID), escalating significant risks when necessary.
- Serve as the main technical liaison for client IT, data teams, security and compliance stakeholders, as well as subcontractors and vendors.
- Produce progress and status reports and prepare delivery dashboards for steering committees.
- Oversee quality assurance processes including testing cycles, UAT, defect triage, and the tracking of resolution activities.
- Collaborate with organizational change management and training teams to align technical releases with user adoption initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related disciplines.
- 8 to 12 years overall professional experience, with at least 5 years managing technical projects or delivery specifically within data platform, cloud, or analytics environments.
- Proven knowledge of data lakehouse architectures including Databricks, Dremio, and Snowflake, along with expertise in major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience in data integration and ETL tools.
- Hands-on expertise in Agile delivery frameworks, such as Scrum and SAFe; certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM are advantageous.
- Familiarity with UAE government digital compliance standards, including DDA and Dubai Pulse frameworks, is preferred and can be developed with leadership support.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities to operate effectively between technical teams and client governance bodies.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.
- Availability to work in the UAE market is preferred.
