Position Overview
Join CGI, a global IT and business consulting firm with over 90,000 professionals worldwide, as a Senior Technical Project Manager in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will spearhead complex digital transformation initiatives within a large enterprise setting, managing multiple workstreams and aligning with diverse business and technology stakeholders to ensure strategic program success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple intricate projects or workstreams using methodologies such as SAFe Agile or Waterfall Phased approaches.
- Oversee scope, schedule, budgeting, risk assessment, issue resolution, and resource allocation.
- Create and maintain comprehensive integrated program plans, roadmaps, and progress reports.
- Establish strong program governance practices, including executive communication and decision tracking.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to align priorities and delivery goals.
- Continuously monitor program performance and proactively manage risk mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate planning, prioritization, and ensure readiness for delivery across initiatives.
- Lead multifunctional teams fostering accountability, collaboration, and high-quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex digital projects within enterprise environments.
- Expertise in program governance, integrated planning, budgeting, reporting, and risk management.
- Ability to juggle concurrent projects and conflicting priorities effectively.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, especially at the executive level.
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams toward successful outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of digital transformation processes within complex organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in regulated enterprise sectors.
- Familiarity with enterprise applications, cloud computing, data initiatives, or system modernization efforts.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Azure DevOps.
- Possession of PMP or equivalent project/program management certification.
Education and Certifications
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- PMP certification required.
- Agile and/or SAFe certifications preferred.
Additional Information
CGI estimates the annual compensation range for this role between $95,000 and $185,000, dependent on skill set, location, experience, training, and credentials.
