Technical Project Manager – ELV & Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm & Networking)

Overview

Rudra Shield Private Limited seeks a seasoned Technical Project Manager to oversee projects in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems including CCTV, access control, biometric systems, fire alarms, structured cabling, and networking. This role demands leadership of field teams, resolving complex technical challenges, managing large installations, and supporting sales efforts for significant project opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical guidance to ELV engineers, technicians, and onsite teams.
• Perform site surveys across diverse environments such as commercial, residential, and industrial locations.
• Design effective security system solutions and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), layouts, network topologies, and detailed execution plans.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, tools, project timelines, and daily activities at the site.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, documentation, and client handovers.
• Address complex technical issues and manage client escalations promptly and effectively.
• Guarantee installation quality while minimizing delays, rework, and resource wastage.
• Participate in key client meetings to present and explain proposed technical solutions.
• Support sales teams by aiding in solution design, quotations, presentations, and securing large projects.
• Collaborate actively with clients, consultants, vendors, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), procurement teams, and other internal departments.
• Train and develop team members while establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), installation standards, and quality checklists.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility

• At least 5 years of experience in ELV, CCTV, or electronic security project management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technicians and site teams effectively.
• In-depth understanding of IP cameras, NVR/DVR/VMS platforms, network switches, routers, Power over Ethernet (PoE), fiber optics, and structured cabling.
• Familiarity with access control, biometric, and fire alarm systems.
• Experience conducting site surveys, BOQ preparation, system design, and full project execution.
• Competence in calculating camera storage, bandwidth, power, and networking requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities coupled with effective leadership and client communication skills.
• Proficient in Hindi and English for clear verbal and written communication.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly to client sites across the Delhi NCR region.
• Applicants should have practical hands-on experience in project execution and managing teams; candidates whose experience primarily covers CCTV monitoring or desktop support are unlikely to meet requirements.
