Technical Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Architect to establish and evolve the architectural frameworks that guide our engineering teams. This position blends profound system design knowledge with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, ensuring cohesive long-term system integration.

Primary Responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve the target architecture across key platform segments.
• Lead architecture reviews and facilitate technical decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with engineering groups on system design and integration strategies.
• Create architecture decision records, requests for comments (RFCs), and technical strategy documentation.
• Mentor senior engineers and formalize architectural guidelines.
• Assess new technologies and drive decisions regarding building versus buying solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 8 years of software engineering experience, including significant roles in architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture design.
• Proven success designing systems capable of handling large-scale load.
• Strong proficiency in written communication, including composing RFCs and strategic technical documents.
• Ability to influence multiple teams without direct managerial authority.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and consultative roles.

Compensation and Benefits
