Technical Architect

Position Summary

The Technical Architect role is responsible for crafting scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions that align closely with business goals. This position demands architectural leadership throughout the project lifecycle, the establishment of technical standards, and the guidance of engineering teams in delivering cloud-based, enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and take ownership of solution architectures that fulfill both business and technical requirements.
• Create cloud-native, distributed system designs that are scalable and robust.
• Establish architecture standards, governance policies, and promote technical best practices across teams.
• Conduct architecture review sessions, design workshops, and lead technical discussions to shape solutions.
• Integrate security, scalability, maintainability, and performance considerations into architecture designs.
• Champion the adoption of microservices, relevant integration patterns, and contemporary application architectures.
• Evaluate technical designs and offer guidance to development teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Engage collaboratively with business stakeholders, project managers, and engineers throughout projects.
• Identify potential technical risks proactively and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Provide mentoring and technical leadership to engineering teams throughout project phases.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in enterprise-level solution architecture and designing complex systems.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems design.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture, API development, and integration pattern implementation.
• Strong grasp of security-by-design principles and architectural governance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning, scalability planning, and conducting technical reviews.
• Exceptional leadership qualities, stakeholder management skills, and decision-making capabilities.
