About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Technical Lead with 8 to 10 years of robust expertise in Siemens Teamcenter development. This role is ideal for professionals who aspire to expand from technical leadership into management, bringing a blend of strong technical knowledge, effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and business insights to guide projects to success and innovate solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the technical team in designing, developing, and deploying comprehensive Teamcenter solutions across various modules including BMIDE, AWC, ITK, workflows, and system integrations.
- Provide architectural guidance and contribute to solution design ensuring code quality, scalability, and adherence to industry best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve challenging technical issues while supporting successful project delivery.
- Customize and develop Teamcenter using ITK, RAC, Active Workspace framework, SOA/REST services, and BMIDE configurations, including data models, business rules, and workflows.
- Implement seamless integrations with other enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, and CAD tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create technical designs, estimate efforts, and manage deliverables to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain high standards of quality through thorough testing, documentation, and code reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and team members by providing training and knowledge-sharing sessions, while supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter (versions 12/13/14 or newer).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is advantageous.
- Preferred Siemens Teamcenter certification and ISTQB or equivalent certifications.
- Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies.
- Technical expertise in Teamcenter development, including ITK and RAC customizations, Active Workspace development, BMIDE configuration, and workflow modifications.
- Experience with SOA/REST APIs programming and languages such as Java, C/C++, and JavaScript.
- Exposure to Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, deployments, and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts, data models, and product lifecycle processes.
- Experience with CAD tool integration like NX and SolidWorks is a plus.
- Database management skills in Oracle and SQL Server, alongside middleware and system integration knowledge.
- Capabilities in stakeholder management and identifying business growth opportunities.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvements in technical delivery.
Additional Expectations
- Oversee complete technical delivery lifecycle with accountability for quality and best practices.
- Serve as the key technical authority for Teamcenter technologies and solutions.
