Job description
Role Overview
Join Woolworths Group as a hands-on Team Manager, leading and motivating teams across multiple retail stores to deliver exceptional service and operations in the Proactive Services division. This division is responsible for ensuring trolley availability and store cleanliness, fostering a safe and hygienic environment for both customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide active leadership by working alongside your team across various stores to inspire peak performance.
- Collaborate with store leadership and department managers to identify operational challenges, set priorities, and coordinate schedules.
- Create and manage staff rosters to cover all daily operational tasks effectively.
- Oversee time and attendance management, including tracking hours, managing absences, and policy compliance.
- Procure and maintain consumables such as cleaning supplies within allocated budgets.
- Engage directly in operational duties including cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management to support smooth daily activities.
Candidate Requirements
- A strong passion for retail and people leadership, coupled with an ambitious mindset, aiming to grow within the company.
- Flexible availability able to work early mornings, days, late nights, and weekends across various environments including shop floors, refrigerated areas, and parking lots.
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Physically fit to handle demanding tasks inherent to the role.
- Organized and proficient in ensuring your team has the necessary equipment and resources for safe and efficient work.
- Ability to work within regulated frameworks, including food safety, industrial regulations, and codes of conduct.
- Possession of a valid full Australian driver's license (Green P’s or full) as trolley collection may require vehicle use.
Work Schedule
Typical roster options include:
- Sunday through Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Tuesday through Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM
