Job description
Role Overview
The Team Leader is an integral part of the management team, assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in managing daily retail store activities.
Key Duties
- Supervise and guide store associates to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage store merchandising, including shelf stocking and processing daily shipment boxes.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards throughout the store.
- Handle manager-on-duty responsibilities such as monitoring breaks, time, and attendance.
- Implement and maintain attractive visual merchandising.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance.
- Perform cash handling and conduct opening and closing procedures as required.
- Participate in inventory management and employee training initiatives.
- Follow through on delegated tasks and support recruitment and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- At least one year of retail work experience.
- Between one and two years in a supervisory capacity.
- A desire for career advancement within the company.
- Availability to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Capability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a busy retail setting.
