About the Role
This permanent full-time position based in Wellington offers you the opportunity to provide top-tier administrative, secretarial, and coordination assistance to leaders and teams within New Zealand’s Debt Management Division (NZDM). Reporting to the Manager, Risk, you will work cross-division supporting various business functions to enable effective operations and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage emails, inboxes, and diaries efficiently to optimize leaders' and teams' schedules.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings, acting as liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update reports, handle document editing, formatting, and printing tasks.
- Draft and develop a variety of correspondence communications.
- Create reports utilizing data from databases accurately.
- Take comprehensive meeting minutes and track action items to ensure follow-up.
- Administer resources, financial matters including invoice and payment processing, HR tasks, and travel arrangements.
- Lead and assist with event planning including logistics, presentations, and program scheduling.
- Provide administrative support for projects as required.
About You
- Experienced administrator with proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive, can-do mindset.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to excellent customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using diverse digital tools.
- Enjoys working collaboratively and values social team environments.

Compensation
The salary is band 13, ranging between NZD 64,156 and NZD 73,995 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
