Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic, social, and emotional assistance to pupils aged 11 to 16 across a variety of core subjects.
• Engage with students either individually or in small groups to maintain focus and task completion.
• Support teachers by marking standard worksheets and documenting daily student efforts.
• Observe and manage classroom interactions to foster a productive, safe, and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Establish positive and professional relationships with pupils to encourage confidence and participation.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience supporting young people in educational or youth work contexts, including tutoring roles.
• Confident and effective presence within classroom settings accompanied by strong communication abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to varied subject matters and classroom environments throughout the school day.
• Possession of an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one immediately.
