Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join a distinguished care home located in Weymouth, Dorset. This opportunity involves working within a nursing and residential care facility soon to open in a picturesque seaside town on England's southern coast. The care provider is recognized as one of the UK's leading health care organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and attend to the daily living needs of residents.
  • Conduct formal supervisions and performance appraisals of team members.
  • Participate actively in care planning and provide coaching to support workers.
  • Represent and promote the facility's services professionally when interacting with family members, potential residents, and inquiries.
  • Update and document care plans and resident records accurately.
  • Assess and report on residents' conditions to ensure uninterrupted quality care.
  • Administer medications according to established policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualification

Applicants must possess an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification to be considered for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will earn an hourly wage of 14.25, equating to an annual salary of 26,676, based on a 36-hour workweek during daytime shifts. This is a permanent, full-time position.
