Overview
Join the digital consumer banking team at JPMorganChase's new office in central Berlin. As part of the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB), this role focuses on executing tax operations for the Chase Digital Bank in Germany. You will collaborate closely with various operation teams to meet German Income Tax obligations and enhance customer experiences by developing operational workflows, controls, and user guides. Strong interdepartmental relationship-building is essential to optimize client journeys.
Key Duties
- Manage daily controls and tasks through a process-driven application to ensure compliance with German Income Tax regulations and service standards.
- Assist with German Income Tax reporting requirements and conduct root cause analyses where necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Operations and Corporate Functions to design and improve client journey processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a mindset focused on risk management and internal controls.
- Demonstrate strong data analysis abilities with an analytical approach.
- Capable of teamwork while being able to operate independently.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
- Highly organized and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, IT, mathematics, or natural sciences.
- Preferred: 1-2 years' experience in the financial sector.
- Preferred: Background or experience related to German Income Taxes or associated domains.
