Role Overview

The Task Associate is essential to ensuring operational excellence that supports sales performance and delivers an outstanding guest experience. This role focuses on maintaining merchandise stock, store cleanliness, and completing required tasks aimed at supporting store operations and associates. The Task Associate works closely with the Merchandise and Operations Managers to align on performance metrics, team collaboration, and compliance with company processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support retail goals by completing tasks as planned and ensuring products are accessible for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution targets on operational dashboards by timely managing shipment processing, inventory counts, merchandise displays, and replenishment.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an inclusive environment by supporting team members, peers, and guests.
• Engage in continuous training on brands and product categories to enhance professional skills and sales contributions.
• Ensure adherence to Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and dress code.
• Execute merchandise resets, follow planograms, set marketing displays, and manage physical inventories using company technology.
• Maintain assigned areas with replenished stock, proper signage, faced products, and tester availability.
• Uphold store standards by ensuring cleanliness throughout sales areas, restrooms, cashier stations, backrooms, and break spaces.
• Protect company assets by employing loss prevention guidelines and delivering excellent guest service.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant work experience or equivalent education and work combination preferred.
• Proficiency with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Continuous movement across the store during shifts.
• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
• Ongoing lifting or carrying of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of store objects.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay for this position ranges from $17 to $25 per hour, with exact wage based on qualifications, experience, shift, and location. Eligible full-time employees receive paid time off, plus health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Part-time employees have access to dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Opportunities for overtime compensation also exist where applicable.
