Role Overview

The Task Associate supports operational excellence to drive sales and enhance customer experiences. Responsibilities include stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. This role assists Merchandise and Operations Managers by focusing on performance metrics, teamwork, and adherence to procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Help meet or surpass retail sales goals by ensuring products are available and tasks completed on schedule.
• Achieve compliance and execution targets related to operational process dashboards, including shipments, restocking, merchandise sets, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain consistent punctuality and attendance.
• Support an inclusive workplace for coworkers and customers.
• Engage regularly in training programs on brands and product categories to enhance professional skills and sales effectiveness.
• Understand and comply with company policies, dress code, and standards.
• Perform merchandise resets, manage planograms, set marketing displays, conduct inventory tasks, and process shipments using company technology.
• Ensure the work area is fully stocked, properly signed, product displays are neat, and testers are well maintained.
• Keep store areas—including sales floor, restrooms, cashier stations, stockroom, and break areas—clean and orderly.
• Protect company assets through loss prevention practices and provide exceptional guest service.
• Carry out additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant experience or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Competency with basic technological tools such as Point of Sale (POS) systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions & Special Requirements

• Flexible work schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Continuous movement around the store during shifts.
• Frequent physical activities including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting, and lifting objects up to 25 lbs.
