Role Overview

The Task Associate contributes to operational excellence by supporting sales activities that ensure an exceptional shopping experience. This includes replenishing merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and executing assigned duties under the guidance of Merchandise and Operations Managers. Key focus areas include performance metrics, teamwork with peers and customers, and strict adherence to company processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support retail goals by executing all assigned tasks and ensuring product availability for customers.
• Meet compliance standards related to task management, including shipment processing, inventory counts, and merchandise setup.
• Maintain consistent and timely attendance at work.
• Promote an inclusive environment that encourages collaboration among team members and guest satisfaction.
• Engage regularly in training initiatives to enhance product knowledge and sales capabilities.
• Follow Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and dress code rigorously.
• Complete store merchandising activities such as resets, planograms, marketing displays, and inventory management using company technology.
• Maintain operational excellence by stocking, signing, and organizing product displays and ensuring testers are available.
• Keep all areas of the store clean and orderly, including sales floor, restrooms, cash registers, backroom, and break areas.
• Safeguard company assets by adhering to loss prevention methods while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferably holds a high school diploma.
• At least one year of relevant work experience or a comparable combination of education and work experience.
• Comfortable using basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in team settings.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work varied schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.

Working Conditions

• Constant mobility throughout the store during shifts.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting movements.
• Regular lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Continuous hand coordination and object manipulation required.
