Role Overview

The Task Associate plays a key role in supporting the store’s operational excellence and enhancing guest experience by ensuring merchandise is properly stocked, the store is clean, and tasks are completed efficiently. This role works closely with the Merchandise and Operations Managers to uphold performance targets, foster a supportive environment for peers and guests, and maintain compliance with procedures and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Help achieve or surpass retail sales objectives by timely execution of assigned tasks and ensuring product availability.
• Meet task compliance and execution goals, including shipment handling, replenishment, merchandise organization, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Support an inclusive workplace by collaborating effectively with team members and delivering excellent service to guests.
• Engage regularly in training to develop brand and product knowledge and enhance sales effectiveness.
• Adhere strictly to Ulta's dress code and operational standards.
• Perform merchandise resets, implement planograms, set up marketing displays, and manage inventory using company technology and best practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and order across sales floor, restrooms, backroom, cash registers, and break areas.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention protocols.
• Carry out additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Comfortable using basic technology including point-of-sale systems and Apple devices.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Flexible to work varying shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight hours.

Working Conditions

• Frequent physical activity including standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting throughout the shift.
• Regular lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds.
• Continuous coordination and object manipulation expected.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $17 to $25, influenced by education, qualifications, experience, and other factors. Overtime pay is provided as per applicable laws. Full-time employees qualify for paid time off and comprehensive health benefits, while part-time employees have access to dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
