Position Summary

The Task Associate at Ulta Beauty plays a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence that supports sales efforts and enriches the guest experience. This role involves maintaining product displays, store cleanliness, and completing assigned operational tasks under the guidance of the Merchandise and Operations Managers. Attention to detail and adherence to procedures are vital aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely execution of tasks to keep merchandise stocked and available, directly contributing to meeting or exceeding store sales targets.
• Complete operational duties such as shipment processing, replenishment, inventory counts, merchandise resets, planogram maintenance, and marketing display setups.
• Maintain compliance with Ulta Beauty's operating procedures, standards, and dress code.
• Support a positive and inclusive environment for team members and guests through ongoing training and professional development.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation, including cleanliness in salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention protocols and delivering excellent guest service.
• Perform other operational tasks as assigned to promote store performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A high school diploma is preferred.
• At least one year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Continuous movement throughout the store during shifts.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Regular lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds.
• Requirement for coordination and manipulation of objects.

Compensation and Benefits

The wage range for this full-time position is $16.82 to $20.00 per hour, influenced by factors such as education, qualifications, experience, shift, and location. Eligible full-time staff receive paid time off and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Part-time staff have access to dental, vision, life, and disability coverage as well. Overtime pay applies as per applicable laws.
