Position Overview

The Task Associate plays a key operational support role to drive sales goals by maintaining well-stocked fixtures, ensuring store cleanliness, and executing assigned tasks efficiently. They work under the guidance of the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, focusing on operational performance, team collaboration, and adherence to company procedures and compliance standards. Precision and dedication to following established processes are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the store in achieving or surpassing retail sales targets by ensuring all operational tasks are completed and merchandise is available for customers.
• Fulfill compliance and operational execution goals as outlined in task dashboards, including timely shipment handling, restocking, merchandise displays, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages support among teammates, guests, and peers.
• Engage in continuous training programs focusing on brand and category knowledge to enhance skills and drive sales performance.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, standards, and dress code consistently.
• Carry out merchandise resets, planogram compliance, marketing display setups, physical inventory tasks, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Ensure work areas are replenished, properly signed, and organized, including maintaining availability of product testers.
• Preserve pristine store conditions encompassing sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap areas, backroom, and staff break locations.
• Protect company assets by complying with loss prevention strategies while delivering exceptional guest service.
• Complete additional operational assignments as directed.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desirable: Approximately one year of related work experience or a comparable mix of education and experience.
• Proficient with basic technological tools like Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to operate effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Work Schedule & Conditions

• Must be flexible to work varying shifts including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnight, and holidays.
• Work requires continuous movement throughout the store during shifts.
• Physical activities include frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting, and lifting or carrying items up to 25 pounds.
• Coordination and manipulation of objects are regularly needed.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly pay range is approximately $16.82 to $20.00, with exact compensation influenced by education, qualifications, experience, shift, location, and organizational needs. Eligible employees may receive overtime pay per applicable laws. Full-time positions include benefits such as paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Part-time roles also qualify for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
