Role Overview

The Task Associate supports operational excellence pivotal to driving store sales and enhancing guest experiences. Key responsibilities include maintaining stock levels, store cleanliness, and executing assigned tasks. This role works closely with Merchandise and Operations Managers to uphold company performance, team collaboration, and compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure tasks are completed timely to meet or surpass retail goals, guaranteeing product availability.
• Meet compliance and execution targets related to operational processes such as shipments, restocks, merchandise arrangements, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an inclusive environment that supports teammates and customers alike.
• Engage in continuous training including brand and category education to enhance professional growth and sales effectiveness.
• Follow Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, dress code, and operational standards rigorously.
• Execute merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology.
• Uphold store standards by keeping assigned areas replenished, neatly signed, merchandised, and ensuring product testers are available.
• Maintain overall store cleanliness including sales floor, restrooms, backroom, cash wrap, and break areas.
• Protect company assets by applying loss prevention practices and providing excellent guest service.
• Perform additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Familiarity with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Strong abilities to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight as needed.

Working Conditions

• Continuous movement around the store during shifts.
• Frequent standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and twisting.
• Regular lifting or moving of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ongoing coordination and handling of objects.
