Role Overview

The Task Associate (TA) plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence that supports sales growth and provides an outstanding experience for all Ulta Beauty guests. Responsibilities include maintaining merchandise displays, ensuring stock availability, keeping the store clean, and completing assigned operational tasks. This role supports both the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on performance metrics, teamwork with peers and guests, and adhering to store processes and compliance standards. Attention to detail and following set procedures are crucial.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Help achieve or surpass store retail goals by effectively completing tasks and keeping products ready for sale.
• Ensure compliance with task dashboards and timely execution of operational activities such as shipment handling, merchandising, inventory counts, and related procedures.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for colleagues and guests.
• Engage in ongoing training including brand and product category education to enhance professional skills and sales outcomes.
• Comply with company policies, dress codes, and operational standards.
• Perform merchandise resets, planogram setups, marketing display arrangements, inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology tools.
• Maintain replenishment, signing, and product facing in assigned areas, ensuring product testers are available.
• Uphold exceptional store cleanliness throughout the sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break spaces.
• Safeguard company assets by adhering to loss prevention practices and delivering excellent guest service.
• Carry out additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma.
• Preferred: One year of relevant experience or an equivalent study and work combination.
• Proficiency with basic technology including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements and Working Conditions

• Flexible scheduling required including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Physical activity includes constant movement around the store, frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting, and regularly lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds.
• Coordination and manipulation of objects throughout work shifts.
