Role Summary
The Tailor at New Age Clinic is responsible for crafting, modifying, and fitting garments and uniforms to ensure a polished, professional appearance for both clients and staff. The role requires precise measuring, garment adjustments for comfort and style, completing alterations, and maintaining an orderly workspace. Collaboration with clinical staff is essential to fulfill specific design and fit needs, manage urgent requests, and uphold quality craftsmanship across all items. This is a full-time position requiring on-site attendance in Dubai and close teamwork with the clinic’s personnel.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient tailoring and dressmaking abilities to construct and alter various garments and uniforms with quality workmanship.
- Expertise in fitting techniques including accurate measuring, pinning, and adjusting for optimal comfort, style, and mobility.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively understand client requests, present options, and ensure a positive and professional interaction.
- Keen attention to detail, manual dexterity, and familiarity with sewing machines, pressing tools, and garment finishing processes.
- Prior experience in tailoring or dressmaking roles, preferably within fashion, retail, clinical, or hospitality environments.
- Capability to work on-site in Dubai, handle multiple assignments simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain client confidentiality and professionalism.
- Basic record-keeping proficiency to track measurements, orders, and alterations, along with awareness of safety and hygiene protocols in clinical or customer-facing settings.
