Role Overview

The Systems Engineer in a Pre-Sales capacity is responsible for shaping and executing technical strategies throughout the sales process. This role supports revenue growth and customer satisfaction by demonstrating Forescout's cybersecurity capabilities and aligning solutions with client requirements. The person will act as a trusted consultant, educating customers and partners on emerging threats while facilitating technical presentations and proofs of concept.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate clients and partners on modern cybersecurity features and dynamic threat landscapes associated with Forescout's offerings.
• Develop consultative relationships, positioning solutions aligned with customers' business and technical needs.
• Identify cybersecurity obstacles within customer infrastructures and interact effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and technical pitches both remotely and onsite alongside sales teams.
• Provide escalation support bridging sales, support, and engineering teams to resolve challenges and ensure client satisfaction.
• Drive pre-sales technical activities, qualifying opportunities from identification through closure.
• Collaborate with and enable channel partners in a partner-focused sales model.
• Manage proof-of-concept projects including test plan refinements and troubleshooting during evaluations.
• Assist in developing and configuring POC environments in line with account team goals and available resources.
• Maintain certifications such as FSCA and FSCE relevant to designated Forescout technologies.
• Stay continuously updated on Forescout’s 4D Platform and related technologies through training and enablement programs.

Candidate Profile

• Over eight years of IT industry experience, including more than five years in pre-sales or technical consulting roles.
• A strong enthusiasm for cybersecurity solutions with a proactive hands-on testing and engagement approach.
• Excellent technical expertise combined with polished presentation and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate efficiently across geographically distributed teams in a global context.
• Self-driven, meticulous, and client-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Skilled in translating client requirements into optimized solutions that elevate user experience.
• Adaptable and resilient in rapidly changing environments, capable of multitasking and meeting strict deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.
