Job description
Role Overview
Join Ventia as a Systems & Data Analyst to spearhead the modernization of Far North Water's operations through innovative systems, data management, automation, and AI technologies. This role goes beyond typical system implementation, focusing on revamping processes, elevating data integrity, enhancing reporting frameworks, and developing smarter, more efficient operational methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion the business readiness and successful rollout of the Novus platform.
- Convert existing business operations into scalable digital workflows.
- Manage data migration, ensure data validation and reconciliation, and prepare for reporting functions.
- Identify and recommend automation opportunities to decrease manual workload.
- Collaborate with teams across operations, finance, commercial, and technical areas to facilitate change management.
- Create dashboards, insightful analytics, and AI-powered reporting tools.
- Organize user acceptance testing (UAT), training sessions, go-live events, and post-launch support (hypercare).
- Promote ongoing enhancement through the application of data and technology.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in business analysis, systems implementation, digital transformation, or process optimization.
- Proficiency in data analysis and advanced capabilities in Excel.
- Familiarity with business systems, reporting software, or data migration processes.
- A keen interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to translate business challenges into practical digital solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and project coordination expertise.
- Knowledge of Power BI, SAP, Novus, or comparable platforms is a significant advantage.
