We are looking for experienced and driven Plant Operators to become part of our expanding Roading Maintenance and Construction team. This role offers the chance to contribute to diverse infrastructure projects focused on sustaining and enhancing transport networks critical to community connectivity.

Role Overview
As a Plant Operator, your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient operation of various civil construction and maintenance equipment on roading projects. Working alongside qualified crews, you will help ensure successful project outcomes while prioritizing health and safety standards.
Key Duties
- Operate equipment such as excavators, rollers, loaders, graders, and other related machinery.
- Conduct road maintenance, pavement rehabilitation, drainage, and construction tasks.
- Perform pre-start safety inspections and routine maintenance checks on machinery.
- Collaborate with supervisors and fellow team members to meet project objectives.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Maintain high workmanship and comply with environmental regulations.
- Support general labour tasks as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience operating heavy plant equipment in civil construction or roading sectors.
- Hold a full Class 1 driver's licence with WTR endorsement; possession of Class 2, 4, or 5 licences is advantageous.
- Experience with road maintenance, sealing, pavement construction, drainage, or related civil infrastructure projects.
- Machine control and GPS operation skills are desirable.
- Strong dedication to health, safety, environmental, and quality norms.
- Ability to work well within a team while showing initiative and accountability.
- Dependable, diligent, motivated, and positive attitude essential.
- Relevant certifications or licences in the industry are a plus.
