Job description
Company Overview
CameraMatics is an innovative SaaS organization focused on revolutionizing fleet operations by leveraging advanced camera technologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and telematics to enhance road safety and operational efficiency. The company is rapidly growing, expanding its footprint globally and setting new benchmarks in fleet safety standards.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Systems Administrator to manage the daily operations of our corporate IT infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 services, Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint management systems, and key business software. Reporting to the Head of IT, Security & Compliance, the successful candidate will ensure our IT environment remains secure, dependable, and scalable, while also providing hands-on technical assistance to staff across multiple sites.
This position follows a hybrid working model requiring three days onsite at either the Dublin or Waterford office and two days working remotely, along with occasional travel between these offices and to our UK locations about once monthly.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage Microsoft 365 tenant services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive including licensing and daily support activities.
- Administer endpoint management through Microsoft Intune, handling device enrollment for Windows and macOS, setting compliance policies, configuration profiles, and Autopilot for onboarding new hires.
- Maintain an accurate IT asset register documenting hardware procurement, lifecycle, and secure disposal.
- Oversee Salesforce system administration, including user access, permissions, license allocation, and collaborate on system configurations and support requests.
- Govern SaaS applications by monitoring usage, managing licenses, and tackling unauthorized software deployments.
- Serve as an escalation contact for identity, device, and core application support queries across offices.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) with tasks such as user and group management, Conditional Access policy application, SSO setups, and enforcing multi-factor authentication.
- Ensure thorough onboarding and offboarding processes with strict user provisioning and deprovisioning workflows for employees moving within or leaving the company.
- Conduct periodic user access audits across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Salesforce, maintaining documented evidence to support compliance.
- Support vulnerability management by tracking issues, coordinating timely patching and remediation, and reporting endpoint compliance metrics.
- Maintain logging and monitoring of core systems, evaluating logs for irregularities and collaborating with leadership on security insights.
- Assist with audit preparations related to SOC 2 and similar compliance frameworks.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning including documentation upkeep and testing.
- Create and update operational runbooks and procedural documentation for IT activities.
Candidate Profile
Essential qualifications include 3 to 5 years in Systems Administration or IT Operations preferably within a SaaS or tech-driven setting. Candidates must have substantial hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and Azure AD capabilities such as Conditional Access and MFA. Proficiency with Microsoft Intune for managing Windows and macOS devices is required, along with practical experience administering Salesforce primarily in a user and license management capacity.
Adeptness at managing joiner, mover, and leaver workflows, maintaining IT asset records, and conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences is crucial. The role demands strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Travel is part of this role, covering commutes between Dublin and Waterford, with infrequent travel to UK locations approximately once per month.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of SOC 2 audits, Microsoft or Salesforce certifications, scripting abilities using PowerShell or Graph API for M365 administration, and experience supporting distributed teams across multiple countries.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range offered is €50,000 to €60,000 annually depending on experience. The position features a hybrid work arrangement with three onsite days and two remote days weekly. The role offers an impactful opportunity to contribute significantly to the company’s IT security and operational scale, working within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment with global growth opportunities.
