About the Role

RPS is currently looking for a motivated and skilled Surveyor to join our Townsville team in Queensland. This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our surveying services tailored for the construction sector, gaining experience across a variety of projects and enhancing your capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct land and property surveys utilizing up-to-date survey instruments and methodologies.
• Interpret survey information and compile comprehensive reports and technical drawings.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects meet quality benchmarks.
• Offer expert technical advice and collaborate effectively with project teams.
• Keep abreast of evolving industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Guide and support junior surveying staff in their development.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a tertiary qualification in Surveying or a closely associated discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience as a Surveyor within construction.
• Experienced user of survey tools and software such as AutoCAD and GIS.
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem-solving capability.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and build interpersonal rapport.
• Capable of working autonomously and within team environments.
• Familiarity with applicable industry regulations and standards.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
