Job description

About the Role

You will work as a Support Worker helping a variety of clients, including elderly, disabled, and those with high needs. Your duties will include assisting with everyday activities, providing domestic aid, social companionship, specialized care for children and adults, respite, and personal care both at clients’ homes and within the community.

Candidate Profile

  • Possession of a Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability, or Individual Support is preferred.
  • Must hold a current, valid driver's license, have access to insured and reliable transportation, and own a smartphone.
  • Personal motivation to deliver meaningful support benefiting both the community and yourself.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities with a focus on customer service.
  • Capable of working autonomously and managing time efficiently.
  • Comfortable using technology such as smartphones, email, and internet for work purposes.
  • Enthusiastic about joining a mission-driven team dedicated to caring for others.

Additional Information

This permanent position is based in Wagga Wagga, NSW 2650, and the application deadline is October 7, 2026.

The role includes participation in pre-employment screenings such as reference and criminal record checks, verification of working rights, and relevant screenings including NDIS/WWCC/WWVP checks and health assessments to confirm suitability.

Applicants must also provide proof of immunization for COVID-19, influenza, tuberculosis, hepatitis, diphtheria, tetanus, and varicella as part of their employment requirements.
