About ZURU
ZURU is revolutionizing multiple industries through innovative automation and disruptive technologies. Operating in three main sectors—Toys, Technology, and FMCG—they bring transformative change via award-winning brands like Bunch O Balloons, Mini Brands, and MONDAY Haircare. Established in 2003 by entrepreneurs Nick and Mat Mowbray, ZURU has expanded to over 5000 team members worldwide across more than 30 locations.
Position Overview
This role serves as a vital connection between the Global Logistics team and various internal departments including Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, and more. The focus is on driving supply chain excellence projects, acting as the main point of contact for non-logistics stakeholders, and seeking process enhancements within ZURU’s global supply chain and 3PL networks. Key responsibilities include supporting cost modeling for logistics, assisting the Global Logistics Manager with operations management, coordinating regular meetings, and onboarding new team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with comprehensive commercial cost modeling for launching brands domestically and 3PL RFQ evaluations.
- Leverage AI tools to improve the speed and accuracy of logistics cost models.
- Develop and maintain comparative frameworks tracking cost models versus actual P&L data.
- Contribute to various logistics and supply chain projects as assigned, supporting timely goods movement and supply chain transparency.
- Help implement process optimization and cost-saving strategies.
- Collaborate across teams like Finance, Marketing, and Sales to collect data and address supply chain needs.
- Clearly communicate updates and findings to relevant stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- Recent or current pursuit of credentials in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
- Practical experience with warehouses, logistics, freight, or retail environments through internships or prior employment is highly valued.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel functions such as formulas, pivot tables, and basic analysis, with enthusiasm to enhance skills further.
- Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong written and oral English skills with the ability to engage diverse international teams.
- Analytical mindset with a natural curiosity, meticulous attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Able to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic workplace.
- Keen to learn, embrace challenges, and advance within a global supply chain context.
