Supervisor II - Food & Beverage

Position Overview

The Supervisor II in Food & Beverage is responsible for fostering teamwork among staff to deliver excellent service and fulfilling guests' needs. This role includes ensuring employees' proper grooming and attire, managing opening and closing duties such as preparing supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing premises. The supervisor also oversees storage organization, implements FIFO inventory practices, maintains cleanliness, conducts scheduled inventory counts, stocks requisitions, and monitors dining room operations for guest seating, service quality, safety, and wellness. Work orders related to maintenance must also be completed promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Support management in recruiting, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and mentoring employees.
• Act as a role model and primary contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and safety procedures, promptly report accidents and unsafe conditions, and participate in safety training and certifications.
• Ensure professional appearance and maintain confidentiality and protection of company assets.
• Welcome guests warmly, anticipate and fulfill service requirements, assist guests with disabilities, and show sincere appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, building positive relationships with team members and addressing concerns effectively.
• Maintain quality standards and propose innovative ideas that enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, safety, quality, or reduce costs.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, handling objects up to 50 pounds, and moving in confined spaces.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in the food and beverage industry.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
